Fashion Visuals at the Vogue Festival
Vogue is essentially the girl’s bible to all things fashion. Our inspiration for clothing, beauty and style come from this glossy monthly issue magazine, and now we can experience Vogue like never before, at the Vogue Festival, and we cant wait!
The most glamorous festival in London returns for 2013 on the 27th and 28th April. Leading designers, photographers, celebrities, models and fashion editors will be giving audiences a unique insight into their lives and work through interviews, panel discussions and talks. The Fashion Visual’s very own, Sami is attending the “Victoria Beckham – My Fashion Life” talk on Sunday, so make sure you keep a keen eye out for pictures from the event.
She was the teen pop star in the ever popular “Spice Girls” under the alias “Posh”, who made the successful leap to become one of the world’s most influential fashion designers and businesswomen. Victoria Beckham will be discussing her life, work and the creation of her two labels with Vogue editor Alexandra Shulman.
Unlike many of the other festivals planned for this summer, the Vogue Festival is a fashiolista’s must! With talks from influential designers and fashion idols, such as Victoria Beckham, Alexa Chung, Cara Delevingne, Anna Dello Russo, Alber Elbaz, Livia Firth, David Gandy, Anya Hindmarch, Christopher Kane, Michael Kors, Yasmin Le Bon, Natalie Massenet, Tamara Mellon, Mario Testino, Donatella Versace, Paul Smith and many more, you are guaranteed to be significantly inspired.
Tickets allow access to the talk as well as a host of other activities, including cover-shoots, mentoring, workshops, demonstrations and makeovers. Yves Saint Laurent will advise you on your perfect bright-lip shade for spring, or you can try out this season’s smoky eye trend, courtesy of Dior. You can even get your hair styled by Vogue’s favourite hairstylists at the Vogue Braid Bar with a menu of runway-inspired looks to try out. This certainly is a festival for fashion and beauty lovers worldwide!
If you have your tickets, make sure you look out for our Fashion Visual representative who was lucky enough to snap up a ticket, and if you don’t, then there are still tickets available at Vogue and Southbank Centre.
